Oh Clarity, where have you gone. I was just holding your hand at my last meeting, taking joy in your presence. I had worked so hard to find you. But then right after the meeting, my enemies, Apathy and Vagueness, opened the door and snatched you away… tempting you with their sweet promise of lack of accountability. I then caught a precious glimpse of you in my makeshift hallway meeting but you vanished once again in a recent email thread from my team members. My search continued through frantic races through the Great Cubicle Garden and several believed to have recently seen you. One by one, they pointed me to others recently blessed with your presence. You reappeared briefly as I exchanged an instant message with my trusted friend, Responsibility. But as quickly as you came, as vapor you vanished. You were gone once again after I received a voicemail from my coworker, Ambiguous… just before he departed for vacation. And then, as I looked up from my keyboard, there you were before me. My brother, Persistence, brought us together once again… I stood in awe. From that point forward, I vowed to fight any foe that would attempt to keep us apart. For I know that with you lies success and all things that are true, good, and beautiful. And this especially includes getting my project done on time.
